btg15aWith Easter pantomimes having now wound down before their May bank holiday reboot, it’s time to look ahead to the Christmas season and news that the UK’s biggest pantomime has announced its first star…

… For UK Productions, Philip Martin Brown plays Abanazar in Mansfield whilst Dani Harmer reprises her role of Cinderella in Tunbridge Wells. In Bath, Katy Ashworth stars in Jack and the Beanstalk with Su Pollard as the Wicked Queen in Blackpool’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Having appeared together in Bournemouth in 2013, Scott Maslen and Bobby Crush are reunited in Aladdin in Bromley.

Su in Snow White at The Blackpool Grand

snowwhite15aYes we are only @ mid-April and heading for a heatwave Summer (allegedly) BUT Su Online can confirm the exciting news that Su will be unleashing her legendary Wicked Queen in Blackpool this Christmas, starring in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at The Grand Theatre.

UK Productions tweeted on Wednesday: “Scaring children, pensioners and quite a few Dads as well Su Pollard returns as wicked queen in @Grand_Theatre“.

h&h15bA new interview with Tim McArthur, who himself will be In Conversation with Su in a couple of weeks, a charity event at Lauderdale House, Highgate Hill.

West End star Tim McArthur: Private school parents should ditch gaz guzzling tanks in Highgate

Tim McArthur is an actor, singer, director and presenter who is starring in Bathhouse The Musical at Above The Stag Theatre. He has lived in Highgate since 1997 and programmed Cabaret in The House at Lauderdale House since 2001. On April 17 he interviews his dear chum, actress Su Pollard, to raise money the Lauderdale Transformed crowdfunding campaign.

What brought you to Highgate?
I moved to Muswell Hill in 1992 to attend Mountview Theatre School and met someone, fell in love, moved (all the way to Crouch End), then broke up and needed somewhere quickly and found a very petite flat in Hornsey Lane. I haven’t moved far since!
